Video verification for Google Business Profiles
This is one of Google's newest features and it's also great one of the most problematic for a lot of business owners. Oftentimes the video verification doesn’t work due to technical issues, video quality issues, and more. If you are going to do a video verification make sure your camera works well and you clearly show your business equipment, signage, operations, backend access to the website, and anything else that makes it clearly you are the business you say you are. One last important tip is to be at the address you used for verification.
Don’t Just Rely On Google Business Profile
Google Business Profiles are a great digital asset but it should not be the only one you rely on for new customers.
If it goes down due to a suspension your lead flow will go down with it. Build out your other assets. Use digital media, print media, and most importantly word of mouth in addition to your Google Business Profile.
