 A Google Business Profile is a very important factor in your local marketing strategy. Think about this: When you are on a city-trip in San Fransisco and you are looking for an Italian restaurant, what do you do? You grab your phone, you go over to google, and most likely you'll type something like; best Italian restaurant near me. Google will then show you 3 listings in Google Business Profiles, which are followed by organic listings (websites). How you make your decision is of course personally, but studies showed that 70% of the population makes a choice in the top 3 of the Google Business Profile listings. 
How To Register My Business With Google My Business?
Follow the following steps to register your business with Google Business Profiles. 
  1. Go over to Google.  (You will need a separate Gmail account solely for the purpose of your business.)
  2.  When you have created a separate Google account, sign in to that Google Business Profiles account. 
  3. Enter your business name and address. Specify your service areas and business category. 
  4. Google will then ask you to verify. After this, Google will send you a postcard. This can take up to 2 weeks to arrive, so be patient. 
  5. When your postcard arrives, just follow the steps written on the postcard to get your business listed. This can still take 2 days to get verified by Google, but after that your business is listed and visible in the maps!
